Another year in the postsecondary industry, and new words in the vocabulary: going private, new money, maturing markets, disappearance of the 50% rule, measuring student success and institutional effectiveness, awakening public sector competition, rising state regulation and, of course, the dreaded "Qui Tam." Enrollment growth continues in all sectors, but the law of large numbers has begun to take its toll on year-over-year percentage gains. Online continues to be the rising star and more players populate the global marketplace. All told, it is still a very good time to be a provider of postsecondary education –– at all levels and in most fields. There are many opportunities still abound, and both providers and investors remain optimistic about the future. Once again, we gather together the best and brightest in the field for an open conversation on where we are, and where we are heading.
