Paralegals & Practice Group Professionals

Our Practice Support Department offers it’s paralegals a challenging and rewarding team environment where our professional staff are able to work along side attorneys to deliver high quality, cost effective services to our clients.

Our positions range from entry-level, to professional-level (Practice Group Professionals), where extensive experience and skills in specific fields are required.

Practice Group Professionals

The firm's Practice Group Professionals (PGP) are highly trained and experienced individuals with unique skills within specialized areas of law. The firm has high expectations for this talented group and considers them valuable assets to the firm's practice groups and the firm, as a whole. In addition, many of the PGPs are responsible for the training, coordination, and supervision of the Paralegals in their practice area.

Paralegals

Dow Lohnes's Paralegals (PL) are a talented and dedicated group of individuals. They are hired to work for a specific practice group and receive the appropriate training that allows them to specialize within a specific area of law. The firm believes that a highly trained and specialized staff of PLs is a valuable resource for both our attorneys and our clients. As a result, the firm encourages continued growth and development of professional skills and expertise.

Dow Lohnes also offers the B. Dwight Perry-Dow Lohnes Employee Law School Scholarship Program for our current and former employees who decide to attend law school. The program is named in honor of our former Managing Partner, Bill Perry, who was keenly devoted to the professional growth and development of our exceptional staff. Dow Lohnes recognizes that one of the building blocks for our legal practice is our professional staff, and we have seen many of our paralegals and other employees go on to become great lawyers, often returning to the firm to continue their legal careers.
