Practice Support - Paralegal (Litigation)
Dow Lohnes PLLC has an opening for an entry level paralegal in its Litigation practice group. This group is looking for a talented and resourceful professional who enjoys working in a team environment. The position will give a qualified candidate the opportunity to grow professionally and to take on greater responsibilities as the candidate integrates into this dynamic practice group.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: handling various aspects of the litigation process, including document management, review and analysis; legal and factual research; and cite-checking, blue-booking and proofreading briefs.
Candidates should have excellent organizational skills, strong written and oral communications skills, positive work ethic, flexibility for overtime and travel, and prior office experience. Bachelor's degree with a strong GPA required; paralegal certificate a plus. The Firm is proud to be an EOE employer.

Practice Support - Paralegal (Education)
Dow Lohnes PLLC has an opening for a paralegal with at least 2 years of experience in corporate and/or litigation for its Education practice group. Candidate will work in a team environment and in support of the group’s attorneys on sophisticated business transactions and litigation matters. The position will give a qualified candidate the opportunity to grow professionally and to take on greater responsibilities as the candidate integrates into this dynamic practice group.
Duties and responsibilities will include various aspects of the corporate and litigation processes including but not limited to: transactional work in connection with acquisitions, and dispositions; organizing and reviewing due diligence and other research materials; aspects of the litigation matters in connection with document management, review and analysis; legal, legislative, and factual research; and preparation and proofreading correspondence.
Ideal candidates must be deadline and detail-oriented; proficient at multi-tasking; self-motivated; and possess excellent prioritization, organization and communication skills, and be flexible for overtime. Candidates should also possess a strong understanding of computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and with a familiarity with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Visio is a plus.
