Commitment to Pro Bono...Values at Work

We take seriously our pro bono commitment. Legal services should be available to all persons in our society. Our pro bono work focuses on providing assistance to improve our communities and to help those who lack the means to help themselves. Our efforts include the representation of charitable, civic, community, and educational organizations.

The firm's active pro bono program is a reflection of this commitment, and associates have the opportunity to participate in a variety of pro bono projects. We work closely with a number of organizations - such as:

• The Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs
• Legal Counsel for the Elderly
• The Legal Aid Society
• Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts
• The Legal Clinic for the Homeless

Working with these organizations and others, offer a variety of training and active representation opportunities to Dow Lohnes associates.
