Ms. Bennett served as the firm’s resident specialist in matters involving institutional participation in the federal student financial aid programs from 1990 to 1993 and again since December, 2007. Prior to coming to Dow Lohnes in 1990, Ms. Bennett served on college campuses administering student financial aid for 18 years. From 1993-2007 she was Director, Higher Education Management Services, Computer Technology Services, a major service provider to the U.S. Department of Education; Director of Education and Institutional Development Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology; NCS/Pearson liaison to the Department of Education; Vice President for Compliance, Computer Learning Centers, and Regional Director, student finance and accounting operations, DeVry University. She has served in numerous positions with the professional organizations associated with financial aid administration.
