Lesli Gaither joined the Washington D.C. office of Dow Lohnes as an Associate in 2001. She thereafter relocated to the Atlanta office in 2003. Ms. Gaither represents clients in a variety of matters dealing predominantly with complex commercial litigation and media issues, and has experience in both state and federal court. Ms. Gaither has extensive First Amendment experience in the areas of libel and invasion of privacy, including litigation, pre-publication and pre-broadcast review, and open access issues. In addition, Ms. Gaither handles a wide variety of commercial litigation, ranging, among other things, from securities fraud litigation to class action defense to complex tort matters and collections.
Ms. Gaither is also fortunate in her practice to have a close relationship with her clients, allowing her to assist them in their day-to-day needs. This has allowed her to counsel various clients regarding, among other things, subpoena responses, customer relations issues, and pre-litigation decision-making.
