Lisa Bureau joined Dow Lohnes in 1987 and became a Member in 1995. Among other things, she specializes in the institutional eligibility, compliance and program review/audit resolution components of the Firm's student financial assistance practice and has represented numerous educational institutions before the U.S. Department of Education, state agencies, accrediting bodies, and student loan guaranty agencies. She also specializes in regulatory issues arising out of institutional restructurings, acquisitions and public offerings.
Ms. Bureau has conducted training programs and seminars on student aid management and on other issues for numerous national, regional and state higher education groups.
