John Logan, a Member, has more than twenty years experience in communications law, concentrating in regulatory issues involved in the acquisition, financing, ownership and operation of broadcast, wireless and cellular telephone, and other communications properties. He also has represented service providers and equipment manufacturers before the Federal Communications Commission in rulemaking proceedings, equipment authorization matters, enforcement proceedings and experimental applications for new and emerging technologies.
Mr. Logan has authored or co-authored articles in Broadcast Financial Journal, the Energy Law Journal and the Federal Communications Law Journal, has been a contributor to the National Association of Broadcasters' Legal Guide to FCC Broadcast Law and Regulation and is the co-author of Record Retention Guide for Radio and Television Stations (NAB Press, 1988). While earning his J.D., Mr. Logan served as Notes Editor of the Virginia Law Review and as a member of its Editorial Board and Managing Board. Following law school, he served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Charles Clark, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Mr. Logan serves on the Pike & Fischer Radio Regulation Advisory Board.
