Jonathon Glass has been practicing law with the firm of Dow Lohnes since 1991. He specializes in higher education law, with concentrated emphasis on institutional eligibility and financial responsibility, as well as other matters relating to institutions' participation in the Title IV federal student aid programs.
Mr. Glass has advised a number of institutions regarding the ever-changing regulatory requirements that apply to sales and acquisitions and the recertification process. He and his colleagues at Dow Lohnes have represented hundreds of institutions in proceedings before the U.S. Department of Education's case teams and administrative law judges.
Mr. Glass pursued his higher education at Carleton College in Minnesota and Pacific School of Religion in California before earning his law degree in the Georgetown University evening program in 1991. Prior to graduating from law school, he was a newspaper reporter and then press secretary to the Virgin Islands Delegate to Congress.
