John Feore joined Dow Lohnes in 1974. For over 35 years, Mr. Feore has represented owners of television and radio stations, programmers, emerging broadcast networks, lenders and investors (both individual and institutional) before the Federal Communications Commission, Congress and other agencies in Washington. He has advised buyers, sellers and financiers of broadcast stations and broadcast networks on structuring complex transactions to ensure compliance with federal regulatory requirements. He also has counseled media investors, commercial lenders and broadcast group owners on sophisticated communications law strategies. Mr. Feore communicates on a regular basis with the senior staff and the Commissioners’ offices at the FCC and with media industry leaders and representatives in Washington.
Mr. Feore's broadcast clients include newspaper-broadcast groups, group television and radio owners and numerous broadcast stations throughout the country, including such companies as Media General, Cox Media Group, Meredith Corporation and Local TV. He also has represented commercial banks; investors and lending institutions and has represented ION Media and Tribune in their reorganization efforts.
He regularly participates on panels at the annual NAB Convention, at state broadcast associations throughout the country and at seminars sponsored by a variety of industry groups.
