Dow Lohnes Serves as Legal Counsel in Time Warner Cable, Insight Communications Deal

On August 15, Time Warner Cable announced that it will acquire Insight Communications, a full service telecommunications company providing phone, high-speed Internet and video services to more than 750,000 customers in the Midwest. Dow Lohnes served as primary legal counsel to Insight, a long time client, on the transaction. The Dow Lohnes team consisted of corporate group members Leonard Baxt, J. Kevin Mills, Matthew Block and associate Lori Beth (Morris) Ouzts; tax members James Saxenian and Linda Fritts; communications members Gary Lutzker and J.G. Harrington; labor and employment member Michael Hepburn; real estate member David Lester; and media and IT associate Kristin Leavy.
