Dow Lohnes Congratulates Cox Communications on Sale of AWS Spectrum

On December 16, Dow Lohnes client Cox Communications announced the sale of its 20 MHz Advanced Wireless Spectrum licenses to Verizon Wireless, pending all necessary FCC and DOJ approvals. Cox Communications and Verizon Wireless will also serve as sales agents for each other's services. Dow Lohnes Members who worked on the deal include Christy Burrow, Scott Dailard, J.G. Harrington, Kevin Mills, Michael Pryor and David Wittenstein. Other members of the Dow Lohnes team who worked on the deal include Joyce Gwadz, who provided tax guidance, and Matt Block and Parker Erkmann, who have worked and will continue to work on Hart-Scott-Rodino and Justice Department issues in connection with the deal.
