David Lester joined the Atlanta office of Dow Lohnes in 2003 as an Associate on the Real Estate team. Prior to joining Dow Lohnes, he practiced law at a multinational law firm where he focused primarily on commercial real property development and construction. Presently, Mr. Lester's practice continues to address a wide array of commercial development oriented client needs, including real property acquisitions and dispositions, like-kind exchanges, construction contracts, easements and other project construction matters.

In addition to his commercial development expertise, Mr. Lester also represents numerous landlords and tenants in lease negotiations for a variety of venues, such as retail, general office, ground and tower leases. While the majority of his time is devoted to project development, Mr. Lester also enjoys advising clients on day-to-day corporate issues involving real property, lease disputes, easements, environmental hazards, condemnations and other property-specific concerns.
